Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Jefferson Kirkland Teass is a native of the Roanoke Valley, Patrick Henry High School Class of 1973. Dr. Teass graduated The College of William and Mary in 1977 with a B.A. in Physical Education and a minor in Biology followed with his postgraduate chiropractic education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating in 1983 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Studies in continuing education have included completion of the 200 hour program of Acupuncture, post-graduate training in x-ray as well as in orthopedics.
A personal interest in Sports led Dr. Teass to playing
for the Rugby team at Palmer College of Chiropractic
and serving as Team Chiropractor for one year for the
Roanoke Valley Express Ice Hockey team.
Personal Data - Dr. Teass is married and is father to two sons: Damon, an attorney in Columbia, Maryland and Tyler, a fourth-year student at University of Virginia and former ice hockey goalie for the UVA Men's Ice Hockey Team. Dr. Teass is married to chiropractic assistant, Susan Goddard Teass, who now serves as the Vinton Chiropractic Clinic's Office Manager.
